Being a young college student you have to know what you want to be within 2 years getting your general education out of the way. Making near and far goals that are acheievable is what college students aim for. In this day and age family and friends freuquently ask, what are you studying in school? Do like your classes? What do YOU want to be? Once you answer those questions they dress you up as a doctor, nurse, teacher, firefighter, whatever it is you are trying to be. Certainly this gives you an incentive to go after your dream and to conquer the long days of studying, or giving up quailty time with your family or friends. According to, â€Å"The source of relatability by rebecca mead† She states â€Å"The contemporary meaning of â€Å"relatable†Ã¢â‚¬â€to describe a character or a situation in which an ordinary person might see himself reflected.† College students have to see themselves within their education to feel that they are reaching their goals. They wan t to see a mirror image of themselves. Students are being told in high school to be relatable to what you want to be so you can love your job, and you will never regret the descision of going to school for what you want to be. Mead defines relatable as, â€Å"But to demand that a work be â€Å"relatable† expresses a different expectation: that the work itself be somehow accommodating to, or reflective of, the experience of the reader or viewer.
